There are three phases of menopause. The first phase is the lead up to Menopause called 'Perimenopause' and is where your periods are irregular and you start seeing the more common symptoms of menopause. The second phase is Menopause, and this is when you haven't had a menstrual period in a 12 month period. The final phase if Post-Menopause.
